Kawasakisaurus is not nearly as formidable as the other members of the Dinosaur Army. He attacked Tiff, Tuff, and Kawasaki in the kitchen within Doctor Moro's lab but they were able to subdue him by first tossing an MSG container at him and then hosing him down. He resembles a cross between Kawasaki himself and a Velociraptor with glaring yellow eyes. Kawasakisaurus (Kawasakiraptor in Japan) was created from Chef Kawasaki's DNA. The two are both extremely hostile towards D-Rex and are seen beating him up. Tuffadactyl is the only member of the Dinosaur Army that can fly. Tiffasaurus resembles a cross between Tiff and a Herrerasaurus, while Tuffadactyl resembles a Pterodactyl with Tuff's head and small fangs. Just like the other dinosaurs that came before them, Tiffasaurus (Fumusaurus in Japan) and Tuffadactyl (Bun-adactyl in Japan) were also created from someone else's DNA - namely, that of Tiff and Tuff. Both Mabelsaurus and Samosaurus resemble an Allosaurus with their heads and glaring yellow eyes. Mabelsaurus and Samosaurus were created from Mabel's and Samo's DNA. But I must admit, I find you much prettier. Have I gone mad, Samo, or did those dinosaurs look just like you and me? He looks a lot like an Acrocanthosaurus with Mayor Len's head with yellow eyes, and even comes complete with Len's trademark top hat and bow tie. Lensaurus is the dinosaur of Mayor Len Blustergas, created from his own DNA. Something about that dinosaur looks familiar. He is based on the Brontosaurus, which he greatly resembles, and has Chief Bookem's head with yellow eyes. A baby Escarsaurus is also seen in the latter part of Fossil Fools - Part II, hatching from one of many eggs in Doctor Moro's laboratory like the baby D-Rex mentioned above.īookemsaurus (Boruntosaurus in Japan) was created from Chief Bookem's DNA. With legs, claws, small fangs, orange spines, and yellow eyes. Escarsaurus sometimes teams up with D-Rex.Įscarsaurus looks like Escargoon, but is a cross between Escargoon and a Stegosaurus, Escarsaurus is often the target of bullying by D-Rex and therefore often gets into fights with him though he usually ends up losing. Give him all you've got, Escarsaurus! Tackle that tub of lard! ”Įscarsaurus was created from the genes of Escargoon and resembles the Stegosaurus. Heh heh heh! Escarsaurus sure is a dino wimp, I'd say. A baby D-Rex is also seen in the latter part of Fossil Fools - Part II, hatching from one of many eggs in Doctor Moro's laboratory. He is also seen getting beaten up by Tiffasaurus and Tuffadactyl.Īs said before, D-Rex resembles the Tyrannosaurus Rex, but is blue, has green claws, and has King Dedede's head with orange eyes and small fangs. He often gets into fights with Escarsaurus though sometimes teaming up with him just like Dedede often does with Escargoon.

This entry is part 10 of a 10-part series on World War I.D-Rex is a dinosaur monster created from the genes of King Dedede. I've gathered photographs of the Great War from dozens of collections, some digitized for the first time, to try to tell the story of the conflict, those caught up in it, and how much it affected the world. Though the events of World War I have now fallen out of living memory, the remnants remain - scarred landscapes, thousands of memorials, artifacts preserved in museums, photographs, and the stories passed down through the years - stories of such tremendous loss. Bomb disposal units in France and Belgium dispose of tons of discovered shells every year. The first World War continues to kill to this day - in March of 2014, two Belgian construction workers were killed when they encountered an unexploded shell buried for a century. Revolutions spawned in Russia and Germany, arbitrary redrawing of national borders set the stage for decades of conflict, harsh reparation demands inspired the rise of Nazi Germany and the onset of World War II. However, after the sound of gunfire was silenced on Armistice Day, the deaths continued to mount.
